We have considered going to Sloan Kettering or MD Anderson. It’s a complicated situation… trying not to leave real opportunities ignored, while not spending precious time chasing dead ends.

It would be wonderful to see you if your travels bring you to the SF area this year.

Amy alerted me to your blog and your situation. I am so sorry that you are going through this. And I, too, appreciate your openness about it. It’s terrifying and heartening (the good parts) at the same time. My mother, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 non-hodgkin’s lymphoma16 years ago, has become very active at Memorial Sloan Kettering. If there’s anything I/she could do to be of help to you, please let me know. Meanwhile,I’ll be hoping for many good days in your future. Love to you and your family, Julie

I wish you had no reason to write it, but sharing your journey like this is a remarkable thing. Please know that I am sending love to you and to your family.

And I have just completed reading everything you have written about your last 3-4 months. Phew! I can only just barely imagine what this is all like for you. But the thing I am so very appreciative of is your vulnerability and openness, in part, so that we can all be more knowledgeable and informed. But mostly to be informed about you.
I’m a science reader. And I find my mind racing to try to remember all I have read about intestinal/pancreatic/duadenal cancers. But the thing that keeps coming back is: Have you done any investigations on CBD/Cannabis treatments? There are now protocols used along with the regular medical procedures and good results are possible. There is a doc in Marin who is well versed in the procedures. I can find out his name if you’d like.
Hugs and big blessings on your journey Michael. Please let me or Michael know if there is anything we can help with. 829-0899
