You have been one of a very few people that have touched my life that I respect without qualification. Although we have not been close lately, you should know that I still compare new people against you as the standard for people with whom I want to associate (much less have as friends).
It is difficult learning of your situation, and it was even more difficult reading your journey. However, as Patti (above) notes, it is truly inspiring the way that you are dealing with this. Debra and I wish you and Irene as much happiness as possible going forward.

Wow! My first read through of your trials and tribulations. My thoughts are with you as I am fascinated by the experiences you so engagingly describe. It is a wake up call to all of us and stops us in our busy daily lives to put ourselves with you.
